Scheduling, Sticking to it... feels good even if that's ad-hoc :-)

Scheduling and Ad-hoc - two extremes but they met at one point for me this week.

Having taken few days off from my "Busy" work for the ever lasting IGNOU exams [that's off topic, anyway :p], I had to, somehow, follow up with official mails to keep me in page with the happenings and to respond to any if need be - No, am not a workaholic :-)

I actually planned to catch up with official mails in the evening after my exams everyday, but thanks to 'TNEB the great' that my inefficient modem was unable to keep up with such a wonderful fluctuating current and it kept connecting to BSNL until I sleep everyday. It's having this strange syndrome only in the evening/night these days and works perfect during early morning/day. So, I was left with no other choice than to do the one which i hate most in this and every other world - waking up early!

Hmm... how bad it feels when you slept late at night around 12:30/1:00 [it was 2:30 one night] and have to wake up at 5:00/6:00 :-(

Alright... and the first day, to my own surprise, I was up at 4:55 waiting for my mobile to do its duty - ring alarm @ 5:00 as set. So, I shut the alarm off once it rang and then checked mails, prepared [did I? well... mmm... hmm] for the exam, got ready and left for the exam. That was cool stuff. All jobs done, neat!

It happened the same way the second and third day but with slight different, just that I got up li'l late at 6:30. But the timing is not the point here. It felt good when I sit back and think for a while now that I am able to do things early in the morning with an 'Ad-hoc schedule' [what a term - English pundits, don't jump on me!].

Moral of the post - Jeeva had started thinking about waking up early!
