Attack on Mumbai - An attack on Indian security system!

26/11/08 - probably the darkest day in India's history till date that every Indian would try to forget.

More than 51 hours since we were attacked and still we are fighting the people who initiated this act - what should we call this?

Our incapability of handling terrorist situation?

Before we get into all that, whom are we fighting against? How many of them are inside the building? How many hostages do they have in their custody? Why is it taking so long? Above all, why are we attacked???

Well, those questions have to hang in the air until the authorities answer!

I am very confident on the abilities of our NSG, Army, & Police forces in accomplishing this operation in Taj Hotel, Mumbai [which is under way while I type] however, the final winners, I would say, are those cockroaches who killed innocent people with no reason, destroyed the historical landmark and stood solid for all these hours against a country's army and I am very ashamed to say this as an Indian.

I cant imagine if our forces are so weak that a small group of 15-20 people, hiding in three buildings, are able to withstand the attacks of National Security Guards, Marine Commandos, the Army, & the Police!! This should definitely ring a bell for people who are responsible for our national security system.

Dear politicians, please please please for god's sake do not make politics out of these incidents - there are many other issues for you to play with rather than every Indian's feeling.

I have always wondered what will these terrorists do if a group of 10 common people, fearless as terrorists themselves, stood against them? Say it is cinematic or I am over reacting, I care a damn. I simply want my country to be free of cockroaches, if that's not possible at least I expect my country to have guts to crush them when ever they show a sign of rising in my Motherland.

Back to my question in the beginning - why is this delay in pinning down those 15 - 20 cockroaches when we have 100s of NSG, Army, Commando & Police personnels? Million dollar question at this hour which every common man, not alone in this country, but throughout the world would like to hear an answer for!

GOD, please save our world from these cockroaches!!!

With condolences to victims...

Scheduling, Sticking to it... feels good even if that's ad-hoc :-)

Scheduling and Ad-hoc - two extremes but they met at one point for me this week.

Having taken few days off from my "Busy" work for the ever lasting IGNOU exams [that's off topic, anyway :p], I had to, somehow, follow up with official mails to keep me in page with the happenings and to respond to any if need be - No, am not a workaholic :-)

I actually planned to catch up with official mails in the evening after my exams everyday, but thanks to 'TNEB the great' that my inefficient modem was unable to keep up with such a wonderful fluctuating current and it kept connecting to BSNL until I sleep everyday. It's having this strange syndrome only in the evening/night these days and works perfect during early morning/day. So, I was left with no other choice than to do the one which i hate most in this and every other world - waking up early!

Hmm... how bad it feels when you slept late at night around 12:30/1:00 [it was 2:30 one night] and have to wake up at 5:00/6:00 :-(

Alright... and the first day, to my own surprise, I was up at 4:55 waiting for my mobile to do its duty - ring alarm @ 5:00 as set. So, I shut the alarm off once it rang and then checked mails, prepared [did I? well... mmm... hmm] for the exam, got ready and left for the exam. That was cool stuff. All jobs done, neat!

It happened the same way the second and third day but with slight different, just that I got up li'l late at 6:30. But the timing is not the point here. It felt good when I sit back and think for a while now that I am able to do things early in the morning with an 'Ad-hoc schedule' [what a term - English pundits, don't jump on me!].

Moral of the post - Jeeva had started thinking about waking up early!

Laziness = Me

And............................................................................ Wow successful one month - no not the completion - without any update to the blog, as the client issues that I handle :-(

You know, people say "Today will be Yesterday, Tomorrow!". That is how time flies by. You ask me "Do you know it?" - Yes I do.

"So, why you dont do things at right time?"
You loser, there is always the next second, the next minute, the next hour, the next day, the next week, the next.....

"But what about this second, this minute, this hour, this day.....?"
Those are to live your life to the fullest!

"What is your 'Living the life to the fullest'?"
Listening to songs, watching movies, surfing through channels, browsing untargetted, chatting with friends, playing computer games.....

"Ok stop! So what you think you will do the next second, the next minute, the next hour.....?"
Will do what i am supposed to do this second, this minute, this hour.....

"So, when will you do what you are supposed to do the next second, the next minute, the next hour....?"
second after the next, minute after the next, hour after the next...

"What if you cant do something that you are supposed to do next second, next minute, next hour.... because you are not finished which you are supposed to do this second, this minute, this hour....?"
Hey, are you deaf? Theres is always next second to make up for this second & second after next to make up for the next second, next minute to make up for this minute & minute after next to make up for the next minute, the next hour to make up for this hour & hour after next to make up for the next hour....

"Heh, can you just read your last answer once more?"
S**t, who the hell wrote that lengthy meaningless crap?

"That is how you will be seen by others if you continue your 'Living the life to the fullest'!"

Here I go...

When i thought of adding another activity to my never ending list [the list is long, but nobody should ask the status of list items], all i could think was Blog.

Hurray, I've started blogging!

But, why this blog?
What is this intended for?
How long would i maintain this?
G O K :-)

I started this coz, come on, everyone who surfs in the internet should have a blog at least, even though they do not have a garage to sleep [kudos to my discovery]!

And why the title "Love Thyself"?
Coz, i believe in the Greek saying "Know Thyself" and Love Thyself is my version of Know Thyself.

I believe for sure that I can contribute my part to the garbage, that is already there in the cyber world, through this tiny blog!

And to all my dear friends: do feel free to shout at me if you feel this blog is not getting updated, at least every light year!
